Once upon a time and long long ago in a place far
far away … That is how all good tales begin. But, is this a tale or a true story? You will have decide for yourself when you finish reading;
A Very Special Evening
The Story About Feede the Lost Lamb.
It all happened on a very very cold day in the mountains.
A shepherd could be seen with his sheep on a distant meadow.

One of the sheep was so very curious. It was Feede. Feede?
Yes, just Feede with his shining brown eyes. All he did all day was play, hide, run and jump around all day.
While playing in the evening shadows, Feede left his friends and his herd not thinking one moment about the dangers of getting lost.
Finally, he went back to the meadow only to find it empty. All his friends were gone! He was so alone. He felt so lonely and was so
afraid. Where were all his friends? Where was his Mom? Where was his Dad? Feede started to cry.
All of a sudden, there was a bright light over him. Huch! What was that? He looked upward and saw the most beautiful angel.
Like a whisper she said with her soft voice "What are you doing little lamb on this very important evening?" "I'm searching for my herd!" he cried. "Don't be afaid," the angel said. "Follow me and you will find a place to sleep for the night." Feede felt better and followed the beautiful angel.

After a while, he saw a little brown wooden stable. A young woman and a tall strong man were standing beside a cradle. The room was filled with a warm light. It looked so comforting and wonderful.
Feede asked the angel "Who are these people?"
The angel answered happily " Mary and Joesph with their baby, the Lord Jesus."
Feede went into the stable very quietly. He put his head down next to the cradle and fell asleep peacefully.

A few hours later, he heard the sound of a familiar voice and it woke him up. Was it an angel? No it was his shepherd! Yes really truely his shepherd!
He jumped up and ran to the man in front of the cradle. The shepherd recognized his little lamb Feede. They embraced each other happily.

After some time, Feede and his shepherd left the Holy Family and returned to the the rest of their friends. They never forgot this special evening for the rest of their lives and passed this story down through the many following generations.
