SMACK! THUD!
Jack kicked the AI soldier’s legs and yelled in pain due to the hunk of metal they were made of material from 2999, as he swiftly throws a plasma grenade to the AI’s face, blinding him. Running with a painful head injury, Jack was able to get out of the blast radius of the plasma grenade as it ignited with blue flashes of explosion around the Engine Chamber within a small radius. With his head hurting, he grunted for not paying attention on what happened around him, as he exited the Engine Chamber room. There were no more AI militants to be seen, since the rest of them were probably in the middle of the invasion or on their way to the Freighter within the Hangar Bay itself.
BLEEP!
Initiated with a press of remote denotator button, the 10-minute countdown started at 9:02 AM, as Jack head back towards the Hangar Bay, to seek a Sparrow to escape with. As he entered the Hangar Bay itself, he saw a cargo like ship entering the hangar itself. He saw a few teenagers handcuffed with plasmatic cuffs by the AI militants as they entered the Hangar Bay. He sighed in agony since the timer for the detonation was now approaching close to 2 minutes since initiation. He had only 8 minutes left to save those hostages before the entire Freighter was going to explode sky-high.
Chapter 6
Captives
Date: June 26th, 2021 – 8:55 AM
“How much longer do we fight them off?” Luis complained as he struck more and more AI militants with his weaponry adaptation and hidden arsenal abilities.
“I don’t know!” Veronica cried as she unleashed more ice wall formations to defend herself and Allison while Aiden was still fighting using his invisibility and hidden attacks.
The four continued using their abilities as more and more militants began to overtake them. They were fighting exhaustedly for the last 25 minutes. Some gaps within that time, gave them time to breathe since reinforcements for the invasion took time to come by Liberty Island and attack the Stellar-Beings. The four were desperate to end this invasion that was going on, but Luis was keen and curious on what was going on in the sky with those two mysterious flying beings. He was thinking that those must be other Stellar-Beings existing. Luckily, the entirety of Liberty Island was evacuated, meaning no civilians were present there.
“Ever wondered what the heck is going on up in the sky?” Luis asked as he tiredly smacked an AI militant with his hybrid halberd arrow weapon.
“What…?” Aiden spoke as he got curious and looked up in the sky. “Didn’t realize that there is action going on up there. We gotta get to the source of this attack or invasion or whatever this is. We have been trapped on this island and now we are surrounded.”
“How long can we keep this up for?” Allison asked as she used more and more of her imaginative powers to try to destroy the AI militants as much as possible, but she started to develop migraines from using the extent of her powers too much.
An enemy ship landed onto Liberty island, the four were thinking it was more reinforcements but this time unanticipated, there was a human being aboard that ship. The person was Hispanic American, having short scruffy hair, as he was dressed in a unique futuristic outfit, with glowing interface on it. He walked with the AI militants towards the four teens as he looked concerned.
“Nice to see a human being for once,” Aiden spoke as he turned off his invisibility as the rest of the three followed along.
“You Stellar-Beings have caused enough trouble for me,” the mysterious person spoke.
“Says the guy who brought a fleet of an invasion attacking our city!” Luis complained.
“You just don’t get it, do you, you puerile halfwits,” the mysterious person continued. “The Earth will be Timemaster’s and you will obey your new ruler of this world.”
“Who are you?” Aiden spoke angrily. “Who is this Timemaster?”
“I am Commander Xander Morales,” the mysterious suited individual answered pleasantly. “The Earth’s Axis will be stopped by this Tri-Needle Obelisk that has been placed in the very Earth within Manhattan. With that in place, Timemaster will be in control of this Earth and you will all serve under him.”
“Not a chance,” Aiden spoke firmly while turning invisible. “NOW!”
The four Stellar-Beings with their abilities started to activate, as they rushed towards Commander Morales and his AI militants. Aiden using his invisibility, bypassed the AI militants, punched Commander Morales which made him incredibly furious.
“You should not have done that Stellar-Being!” Commander Morales grunted.
Before Aiden could strike another punch, Morales smiled happily as he unleashed an electric shocking hand device that he struck Aiden with. Morales had a rough idea of where Aiden was standing despite him being invisible, with his flashing hint of hidden attacks showing, gave Morales a tactic to strike Aiden.
“AAAAHHH!” Aiden’s invisibility began to turn on and off uncontrollably as he received a big electric shock treatment, which made him fall to the ground. The electric shock contained cellular plasma and electrolytes that could temporarily shutdown Aiden’s cellular development, which prevented him from using his abilities temporarily. The US government had found ways to be able to stop Stellar-Beings from using their abilities or powers temporarily, which put them in more power and more of a stricter State itself in the 30th century. But never did they find a way to replicate their abilities or powers throughout the centuries.
The other three stared at Aiden as he fell to the ground, due to the heavy electric shock that he received from Morales. Veronica began to use more of her ice powers to freeze the AI militants, but Morales came up with a counterattack that was unforeseen. He pulled out his pistol, attaching an electric circular cell into the chamber
