Know Yourself

He was young and bold

thought he was to old

to want to conform

she was shy and free

thought she used to be

a kite in a storm

I despise the cold

or so I've been told

follow your own fate

if you want true wealth

but to know what you hate

you must first know yourself

she is longing for the day

her torture's taken away

he's been expecting the worst

never wanting to be first

follow your own fate

if you want true wealth

but to know what you hate

you must first know yourself

Our Radioactive Reflection

I was worryed about his bile

And he was worryed about my smile

So we ditched the bay

Expecting to come back another day

During our radioactive reception

So before the gardens go blind

And we get to old to find

Time to remember

Lets seize the reflection

On our radioactive reception

In september

My Golden Metropolis

    Standing

on the shore

next to a crowded beach

that reminded me of a forset

the way all the strangers

kept close, like trees

and the seaguls,

so free,

to poop on the parking lot and

strangers cars.

and steal french-fries

off of a couples picnic blanket

when my shadow drowned

in the damp sand

and my imagination

became to bitter to cope

with the status quo

so I began to dream

the vexatious chatter

was muted by

My Golden Metropolis

of sand and sea

and the I tried flying for a change

the deep blue and green waves

and their infinte tides

of white noise

would be the last to stop me now

so I just kept drifting

untill my island

looked like a sandy paper plate

like I could crumble it up

to stuff it into my pocket

and in that moment

I found myself

hiking through the checkerd valley

when the snowcapped hills

coated mewith icey sludge

and dispite this tragic mess

I stayed warm,

clean

and dry

yet chilled to the bone

by fear of it all ending

and comforted

by the idea of  it being all over

then the snow melted

into a school of coral fish

and swam away

till i was left

in a tower of desks

and i was being held in a gaze

with my teacher
as i hand in

a test with the answers

replaced by my

Golden Metropolis

haunted home

crack of thunder

made me wonder

how much longer

we had before dawn glows

kitten's , gray

giggle and play

on the gamma rays

in darker then most homes

my round ticket

lost half its meaning

when i lost to wicket

my legs lost their feeling

dear sunshine

i find you devine

show your gallery

oh mallery

love this haunted home

unknown yet

    the doctor pulled me aside

i had to lower my pride

brace for impact

cuz heres the real fact

i've just widend my sight

my bouncy castle

was the IV bag

the princess's tasle

gave me a white nametag

its hard to find

if your going blind

like the man in the back room

aranging his black toom

and he was nothing but kind

i brough a one way ticket

to were my burns were bound

when i lost to wicket

my head lost its pound

my friend brought me flowers

they grew to green towers

i couldent be more glad

with my situation so bad

my new super powers
