Mommie said God put a blanket over the sky.
The blanket everything dark.
The blanket made me scared.
Mean men sometimes came to our house. They would throw things through our windows.
Mommie said they were looking for food. Why couldn't they eat their own?
One day, Daddy came home with red water on his face. He said he'd be okay.
One day, Daddy stopped coming home.
I miss Daddy.
I don't like the blanket. I want God to take it off.
Mommie said there was a big explosion.
Explosion is a big word.
My tummy is always hungry. It always asks for food.
Mommie's quiet now, she doesn't tell me stories any more.
I wish the blanket would go away.
I don't like it.
