Placid Powers

I’ve been thinking about it more often now,
thinking about a way how.

The winds changed and the season grew,
a planted seed I once knew.

Precious time doesn’t matter anymore,
with one foot in and out the door.

Undecided and Unrenewed.
Placid or just Stagnant not sure which one is true.

Locked position sirred confusing tears,
Joy hurts more in minor ears.

Piano tuned and still no sound,
keys unwritten, blank pages found.

Light beneath my windows pain,
leaves a heavy heart with lots to blame.

White walls and merry ways,
plain drapes and hollow days.

It’s the same melodic tune I hear,
a daily struggle in mute fear.
