My Dad

I was raised by my mom,
Don't get much love from my dad,
And then he's gone,
I always wonder what went wrong,
I always ask myself if its my fault,
I don't know why he left,
Maybe it was for the best,
Or maybe he was just not ready for a child,
And my mom never likes to talk about him,
Or why he left,
I always wanted his love,
I never have known how it felt to be loved by my dad,
But I know that I probably will never get the love I always wanted,
I always wish that my dad would be there for me,
And be proud of me,
I wish that I could fill the void inside,
It hurts all the time,
I just wish that I had that love,
So that the void would be filled,
And so I can say that I have and had love from my dad,
Oh my dad,
I wish for that so,
My dad.

My Mawmaw

I want to say something to you,
But don't know how.
I will try to say it Now.
I think it will be hard,
And here it goes.
You know that I love you so.
You know that I will always be there for you.
You know that I would do anything for you,
But I would still like to tell you,
That everything I've wrote is true,
Just so you know.
I wish that I had more for you.
I wish that I could cure you,
But sadly I can't,
Because that is beyond my control.
If I had money,
I would help you in every way.
I just wish that you knew,
How much I care for you.
If the world would end tomorrow,
I could say,
At least I had spent time with you.
Oh,
I love you so.
Oh,
I do.
This is to,
My most loving Mawmaw.

My Future

My Future,
Is in my hands,
But sometimes it feels as if it isn’t.
People tell me things,
Like that I can do anything,
But it is hard to understand,
Why they think that,
Or tell me that.
I know things about myself,
That will help me overcome,
And I still have troubles,
Seeing my future,
Being worth anymore than a dime.
I know that I will try,
And try again,
But I’m always afraid of what I normally do,
Which is just give up.
I never really want to do so,
But I end up doing it anyway.
Sometimes my future looks bright,
And other times it looks dim.
I wish my future was seeable to my eyes,
But sadly it isn’t.
My future is unpredictable.
My future is my future,
And I don’t know what to do.

Mawmaw Betty

When I was little,
I had tons of problems,
And you didn't care.
You would watch T.V with me.
You would even suffer through playing pokemon,
Because you knew that it made me happy.
You were not just another family member,
You were my friend.
I knew then that we could overcome anything together,
But now you tell me it's almost the end.
I wish it wasn't,
But I know that you will be in a better place,
And I also know that you will never actually be gone,
Because of our bond,
We will be together forever.
Mawmaw Betty,
You loved me from the start,
And so I write this poem to you,
Saying that I love you too.
To my Friend.
