One

The days were beautiful

because they were ephemeral

Let me emphasize, though,

far from finished, your heart unforgettable.

Reuniting in two weeks, for me

Is a synonym for eternity

Minutes feel like hours

Endless days go by

Without seeing you

All I'm left with

Is a question; Why?

The Comedians

The Laughter

The gelato, shortly therafter

The W

The first cuddle and kiss

The baba ganoush

Now, all I remember is bliss

Been raining here ever since leaving you;

is that a coincidence?

I am left questioning it all.

My patience tested

An opportunity to hold you, arrested

Again I am left with the question:

Why?

Fao Schwartz

Watching you play with Hello Kitty

Looking oh so uniquely pretty

Where your smile

Made me forget to breathe

Watching you hold Tom Kitten

May or may not

Have me smitten

Overwhelmed by who you are

And

What you see in me

Both inner and outer

My feelings only echoing louder

To the clock that says I have only held you,

for a matter of days, countable on one hand:

Dear Clock,

It does not matter

The seasons are ours

What a moment in time!

Your sweetheart, your sweet tooth

Your bangs, your dresses,

addicted to the caresses

Don't forget about:

my clumsy ice cream messes

Oh and

TIffany’s - your description of my proposal

If that happened

I shouldn’t be in your life,

but rather, a garbage disposal

There were flashes - I remember them

There were moments – I still feel you

Where there were 2 bodies (supposedly);

two sets of Eyes (oh, your elusive right eye),

ears, mouths

In those instances,

there were two mouths

Nonetheless I refuse to believe it

Two bodies? Nonsense.

During passion,

Time stops.

Life is unimpressive.

There is nothing else like it under the sun,

When the two of us become 1

Decades of existence, unaware

of one another.

And suddenly turning my world to a wonder

Just to

Embrace

All that you are,

all that you make me feel

Looking at a screen,

watching absurd television,

but when I am holding you

our minds exist elsewhere

The screen could be blank for all I know

I can plainly say:

I have never been more sincere.

Finding you along my path

In such an

Undeniably

Baffling fashion:

Fate may actually exist with such palpability

The world,

The Other People WILL try and get at us,

to you especially.

If only they knew

they won’t get anything

anything at all.

Allow me to strongly disagree

With the silly man,

Who offered us Hennessy.

"Amazing"

"Awesome"

Whichever order; you make nothing feel in disorder

While both adjectives are surely true

a Flightless Bird

is Life without you,

You are no accident.

I am struggling ending this poem

As I am struggling foresseing an end

To our story

I am struggling ending this poem

As I am struggling foresseing an end

To our story

I am struggling ending this poem

As I am struggling foresseing an end

To our story

I have fallen for you, Cydni

and wonder if,

I will ever stand up.
