Hello
Hello
Hello

I'm wakin' up at the start of the end of the world
But it's feeling just like every other morning before
Now I wonder what my life is gonna mean if it's gone "Mmmmmm."
I rolled over and looked at my alarm clock.
6:13
"Crap!" I was gonna be so late for work!
I jumped outta my bed and flew around the house getting ready. I rushed into my bathroom and turned on the shower. I quickly stripped, grabbed my toothbrush, toothpaste, and jumped into the warm stream.
As the water hit me my mind wandered, and my fantasies took hold of me.
I was walking along a beach with a cute guy. He was holding onto my hand for dear life, as though if he let go I might float away.
He turned and looked at me. There was so much affection in his eyes. He gazed at me so lovingly that my knees went weak. I had to cling to him just to stay on my feet.
Without meaning to I looked at his full lips and bit my own. I looked up into his eyes once again and felt like I was drowning.
Water washed over my head, flooded into my ears and made breathing difficult. It had begun to rain. Fighting for breathe, I watched the way the water trickled down my mystery man's face.
Before I could catch my breath, his lips met mine. The kiss sent tingles through my body. My every nerve felt like a live wire.
After a few moments, I wanted more.
I opened my mouth slightly, in a subtle effort to deepen the kiss. He must have been thinking the same thing, because he quickly pushed his tongue into my mouth.
The taste was so horrid, I immediatly spit it out and began back peddling.
I hadn’t gone far when my back suddenly hit cold tile.
I shook my head, forcing myself to come back to reality. When I opened my eyes again, I was in my tub. The shower was going and steam was rising.
I was covered in toothpaste, from head to toe. I had Clearasil in my hair and shampoo on my face. My toothbrush, which now lay on my tub floor, was covered in body wash.
"Well that’s what I get for fantasizing in the tub." I said choking on my body wash. I spit and hacked as much as I possibly could to get rid of the taste. When that didn’t work I once again stepped into the flowing water.
Washing it all off was a long and hard task. Especially getting the toothpaste off and the nasty taste out of my mouth.
I climbed out of the shower, and tripped on the tub lip. I fell, hit my head on the bathroom counter and was whisked away.
My eyes closed, and behind my lids a beautiful picture was painted. I saw a log cabin. It was so warm and inviting I had to go in.
Inside I saw two arm chairs, and a couch perfect for snuggling in. There was a fur rug on the floor, in front of a wondrous fire place. Plush throw pillows adorned it in a semi circle. All facing a roaring fire.
The room was warm and cozy.
It was so relaxing that I couldn’t keep my eyes open, I began drifting on my feet.
Soft lips kissed my nose, and my eyes flew open.
I was eye level wIth one of the hottest guys I've ever thought of.
Once I was looking at him, he smiled a bright smile, one that lit up his entire face. He held up two cups and motioned me over to the rug.
I hesitantly walked over and sat.
He grabbed a blanket from the back of the couch and draped it over us as he sat.
He handed me one of the cups, the steam of it warmed my face.
He watched me as I took a sip, and burned my tongue. I almost dropped my cup, but he was able to catch it without spilling a drop.
I stuck my tongue out and began madly fanning it. I made quite a spectacle of myself.
He gave a silent chuckle and took hold of my hands. He moved them away from my face, and blew on my tongue. Trying to cool it. His breath smelled absolutely horrible, it was hotter than the cocoa had been.
Not satisfied with his progress, he took my tongue into his mouth. At first he was simply sucking the tip, but then he progressed, and was soon sucking on my entire tongue. As if it couldn’t get any worse, he got sloppy. His tongue began traveling all over my face.
When he repeatedly began licking my nose, I opened my eyes. I had to put a stop to this.
Instead of seeing the inside of a beautiful log cabin, I saw the inside of Rasputin's mouth.
I screamed and jumped up.
Rasputin, my St. Bernard quickly ran out of the room whimpering.
My face was covered in his saliva. I had a pool of it in my mouth. YUCK!
I spit it out fast and brushed my teeth again. I brushed multiple times, until my gums were raw.
Satisfied, I turned and began cleaning the mess. I wiped clean the slime with my towel and threw it in the hamper. I would have to remember to wash that immediatly.
Brushed my teeth one more time for good measure, and exited the bathroom.

What if I say I'm not like the others?
(Keep you in the dark)
What if I say I'm not just another one.
(You know they all... pretend)
You're the pretender
What if I say that I'll never surrender?

What if I say I'm not like the others?
(Keep you in the dark)
What if I say I'm not just another one.
(You know they all... pretend)
You're the pretender
What if I say that I'll never surrender?

I sang along to the song, as it blasted out of my alarm clock. At first I just danced around in my hallway, but eventually I spun into my room. In my fantasy I wasn’t spinning into my room, I was spinning into the arms of a great guy. A great guy that could dance.
The song changed as he twirled and dipped me continuously.

As we wake up in your room
Your face is the first thing I see
The first time I've seen love
And the last I'll ever need
You remind her that your future
Will be nothing without her
Never lose her, I'm afraid
Better think of something good to say
But it's all been done more than once
I'll keep on trying
Oh god don't let me be the only one who says

He looked me in the eyes, and turned me so that our hands were twisting. He told me how to move, not with his voice, but with his hips.
The sensation of his body pressed up against my own was absolutely thrilling. It feltt as though I was on Superman at six flags, and we were finally descending.
He spun me once again and let go of one of my hands.
He placed his hand on the small of my back and pulled me close. He rested his head on mine.
We danced like that for the rest of the song.

Grown up
She just turned 16
Stuck in the moment
Dead at the scene
And it's on tonight
This is the life that you wanted, right?
So turn off all the lights
Dressed up just like a movie star
At all the parties they'll know who you are
Wouldn't it be great, to be fashionably late?
So why don't you wait, till you're sedated

Don't it feel like something's not right in his kiss tonight?

Yeah what I'm saying is do you, do you want to lose it all?
Cause this is more than just a dance hall drug
You can't wait to fall in love
All I'm saying is do you, do you want to learn to fly?
Then you should pack it up and say goodbye
Cause when the push comes to the shove
It's just a dance hall drug.

As the new song started, I turned to my alarm clock.
7:23
I ran around my room, quickly getting dressed. I must have tripped over Titan, my Doberman pinscher, almost a million times. He finally got tired of it and went downstairs.
When I finished, I turned off my alarm. It was 7:47. I was so late it; no way my boss would shrug this off.
I put Sam and Goliath, my Chihuahuas, in the kitchen. I poured them some kibble from the jumbo bag, and put fuzzily, my rottweiler, in the back yard.
I grabbed my keys and was out the door by 7:55.
On my way to work, all I saw was happy couples. Happy couples walking down the street holding hands. Happy couples sitting in restaurants eating dinner, feeding each other. They were kissing on benches in the park when I walked through it.
They had no idea how lucky they were to have someone. To not have to face loneliness.
I exited the park and crossed the street, not paying attention to the red hand on the walk signal.
Someone started honking, and I turned to see a bus, speeding towards me. The driver stepped on the breaks but the bus didn’t halt. I was staring the afterlife in the face, frozen in place.
Huh, this isn’t how I thought I would die.
About three feet away from total annihilation, someone pulled me back. Out of the way.
He pulled me into his arms, and held me until the bus passed on its way.
Everyone had been screaming at the top of their lungs, and they still did. It’s a wonder how I was able to hear him so clearly when he whispered in my ear, "Pay more attention to your surroundings next time."
He let go of me and walked away. I didn't even get to thank him. All I could do was watch his shaggy, dirty blonde head bob with his movements.
My phone buzzed, alerting me to a text. I pulled it out and opened the message: WHER R U?!?!?
I replied: across da street
I sent it and watched the time.
8:15
I shook my head and waited for the walk signal to change. I assured everyone that asked that I was fine, and ran across the street as soon as I could.
I went around the front entrance, through the alley and entered through the back. I clocked in, took off my jacket and walked through the back room.
"You’re late." said hayley in greeting.
"I’m almost always late."
"And why no one's fired you yet I will never know."
"Where’s boss lady??" I asked.
"She had to run to the bank so you’re safe." She opened up the liquor cabinets and started setting up. "Can you get the glasses?"
"Yea." I walked back into the back room, and opened the cabinet. I started grabbing glasses and putting them on the serving window ledge.
Hayley grabbed them and put them under the bar. We worked like that for 10 minutes, chatting about insignificant things.
Bang!
Someone started pounding on the back door.
"Let us in! Its chilly out here!" the other girls yelled.
"Who is it?" I answered.
"Just open the door!" they all yelled at virtually the same time.
I opened the door and Maria hit me. I laughed it
