Crystal

I woke up in a cold dark room. My head was killing me and yesterday was a blur. I looked down at myself and saw I was in my assassin uniform. Let me just say this, I like the color black, especially when it's black leather. My uniform consists of black leather gloves, a black leather one piece suit with a deep plunge at the neck, and black knee high leather boots. Get the point? Black leather is my thing.
I moved my arm and heard a chain rattle. I looked down and sure enough there was a shiny new shackle there. I sighed angrily and brushed my scarlet hair out of my violet eyes. I took in my situation with calculating eyes. Things could always get worse. I could be hungrier for one, and I could be out in the blasted sunlight for another.
I was in an underground cell, I could tell because of the musky smell. It was close to dawn, I knew that because all vampires know when dawn is. Something stirred in the darkness, which had me instinctively reaching for my gun. Needless to say it was missing, and the thing that stirred was also chained.
"Who are you," he demanded.
I could tell it was a man because of his voice. I hissed angrily as I realized he was human. Well, Fuck. As he moved into view I could see that he was also a cop. Double fuck. To top it off he was chained to me. Super fuck with extra fuck sauce. Suddenly his scent hit me and I grew hungrier. Well add fucking fuck sprinkles to that order of Super Fuck with Fuck sauce.
"My name is Crystal Angeles," I answered annoyed at myself.
"Fuck," the cop swore. "You're a vamp."
"Also a skilled assassin," I added yanking the chain, testing its durability. I got nothing weakening.
"You aren't gonna kill me, are you?" he asked timidly.
"Not hungry and you're not a target I was hired to take out. That answer your question," I demanded angrily.
"Hey," he protested as I pulled him along. "Do you mind?"
"Look, Mister. . ." I trailed off not knowing his name.
"Hanks, Henri Hanks," he said.
"Well Mr. Hanks, the way I see it we have to work together to get out of here," I snapped as I kicked at the bars.
The bars didn't budge as I kicked angrily repeatedly. I tried not to let it show that I was hungry. Henri seemed to know anyways some how as he kept his distance. Damn it all! Someone had a fucken sick sense of humor. Henri had no idea that feeding from a human would make me feel sick. I may be an assassin, but I think that a vampire feeding from a human is wrong. I use donation centers to get my blood.
I ran my tongue over my fangs, the sharp sting made me realize that they were out. I better not let Henri see that. I may not like feeding from humans, but I do when I'm desperate and when I am trying to be threatening when I don't get paid. When you hire me there are two costs. Money, which is dependant on the target and one pint of blood. When people do not pay, then I get mad.
"Where are we," he wondered aloud.
"Some prison underground," I answered. "Do you remember what happened yesterday?"
"Now that you mention it, I don't," Henri mused.
I looked at him then.
