There was a deep howling in the night then the sound of the grass moving. A pair of eyes appeared in the distance. They shown as bright as the stars that were in the sky. It fierce eyes were fixed on me as it moved closer. A wolf. What was a wolf doing here? I swiftly walked to the front door only to find that is was locked. You have to be kidding me right now. I turned back to see how close it had gotten. It's closer, it was almost five steps away from the stairs. It took off running as fast as I could and hurled myself over the deck. “AHHHHH” I screamed tears filling my eyes. I grabbed my ankle. Then I saw the wolf, it came closer and closer. I closed my eyes and turned my head away while pushing myself against the wall hoping that it will give me a better chance of surviving. Then I felt a hand on my cheek. I turned my head and looked to see who the hand belonged to. His face was close to mine and he looked beautiful. His green eyes sparkled as he stared at me. He looked pained. With tears in my eyes, the pain in my ankle started to come back. I moved my hands to his chest trying to push him away but he didn’t budge. He looked at my hands on his chest then back to my eyes. His thumb moved over my cheek where tears had fallen.
“Get away from me, Please.” My eyes had even more tears in them now. He looked back at me and slowly pulled his hand away from my face. He backed away slowly as if not wanting to leave me. I turned to the railing and tried pulling myself up but my hand slipped. Before I could fall back down he was at my side helping me. When I was fully standing he scooped me up in his arms. He was warm, and he was muscular but had a gentle touch.
“I am very sorry for terrifying you,” he said suddenly while walking away from the house. His eyes searched mine.
I tightened my grip around his neck and laid my head on his chest. He was like a blanket. Before I could count to three I was out.
