Sheri Daniels stood next to her best friend, Lance Trawick, as they stood on ledge overlooking the longest dop they had ever seen. The proffesional behind them ajdusted the cords attached to them both. Sheri took a shaky breath and stepped closer to the edge. She glanced at Lance, a goffy grin was plastered on his face.
"Ready?" She asked
Lance nodded rapidly, "I've always wanted to do this."
Sheri laughed as they counted to three. On three they jumped from legde.
They were bunjie jumping, in case you couldn't tell. Why? Well, it was the end of the world. Or, the next day was. A giant, and I do mean giant, meteor was heading their way, it's impact was due the next day. Everyone had accepted this, but most were spending time with their families, praying, stuff like that.
Sheri and Lance had done that the day before. But today was for doing everything they hadn't done already. Sheri and Lance had been best friends their entire lives, and they were 18 now. They were taking turns, and it was Lance's turn to choose their insane stop. Next was Sheri's, even she didn't know what she was doing yet.
They finally stopped bouncing around and the bunjie tecnition was pulling them up. Lance was laughing like a five year-old, causing Sheri to laugh at him. Once they wee at the top, they thanked the man and made their way down to Lance's car.
"That was so awesome!" Lance exclaimed, cranking up his old pickup truck.
Sheri giggled, "I can't believe we did that!"
"Yeah, so where to next?"
Sheri thought for a moment before smiling, "Walmart, my dear. Walmart."
Lance did nothing but laugh and sped, literally he was speeding, to the closest Walmart.
The walmart was empty, like, very empty. Maybe two people were their, and there were no workers. Sheri took Lance's hand and dragged him to the food section.
Lance laughed, "Are you going grochery shopping?"
Shery said nothing but grabbed a carton of orange juice. She quickly unscrewed the cap and took a swig before dumping the entire thing onto Lance.
He stood there in silent shock. Sheri giggled maniacly and leaned in close, "Food war." she whispered in his ear before running off. Lance's shock wore off and he ran in the direction of the Deli.
Sheri snuck through the ailes, collecting her arsenal as she went. Out of no where, she felt something hit her in the back of the head. She spun around, Lance was there with a spoon and a large tub of mashed potatos. Sheri quickly opened the whipped cream in her hand and squirted in his direction. He laughed and slung more potatos at her. She dogded and pointed past him, "Is that David Bowie!?" She asked.
Lance spun around. Obviously, there was no David Bowie. When he turned back, ketchup filled his face. Sheri doubled over in laughter as he wiped the red condiment off his face. She caught her breath and scooped some of the ketchup off with her finger and stuck it in her mouth.
"Mmm." She said, "I love ketchup!"
He laughed and squirted her with the mustard he stuck in his pocket, "How do you like mustard?"
She gasped and started laughing, "You jerk! You know I hate mustard!"
At that, they both laughed and walked out of the store, the food war obviously over.

"She paints her fingers with a close precision! He starts to notice empty bottles of Gin! And takes a moment to assess the sins she's paid for!"

Sheri and Lance were in his car again, singing badly to The Ballad of Mona Lise by Panic! At the Disco. Lance wouldn't tell him where they were going, but the back of the truck was filled with Blow Pops. Yeah, you heard me, Blow Pops.
Lance pulled up next to the tallest building in their town and loaded all the Blow Pops out.
"What are we doing?" Sheri asked as they walked into the elevator. Lance hit the button for the roof, not answering her.
Once they were on the roof, Lance went to the very edge and dumped the Blow Pops onto the ground next to them. He grabbed a grape sucker and threw it through the air, "HAPPY QWANZA!" he screamed.
Sheri laughed, "What are you doing?"
He grabbed another one, "Just throw a sucker out there and scream something random." He threw the sucker, "PAPAYAS!"
Sheri grabbed one and through it, "DWIGHT!"
Lance gave her a quizzical look, "Dwight?" Sheri shrugged.
Nearly two hours later, they made it to the last Blow Pop. Sheri handed it to Lance, "You wanna throw it?"
Lance shook his head, "No, you do it."
Sheri smiled and threw it as hard as she could, "HAVE A HAPPY DOOMSDAY!"
Lance laughed, "Nice to know your so enthusiastic about it all."
Sheri shrugged as they got back in the elevator, "I'd rather go out with a bang, not a fizzle."
Lance smiled and took her hand.

Back in the truck, Lance had turned the song to Dance, Dance by Fallout Boy. "Where do you wanna go next?"
Sheri grinned, "The lake."
In the town they grew up in, there was a huge lake in the woods that everybody swam in. It was known only as, The Lake. Once they were there, Sheri ran to the pier and looked at Lance.
"Turn around!" She told him. He did and waited. He heard the rustle of her shorts and tank top and than a splash. Sheri giggled, "You can turn around now."
He did and looked down at her, he didn't see why he had to turn around, then he saw the pile of clothes at his feet. It was her clothes, all

of her clothes.
"Uh, Sheri. Um, what are you doing?"
Sheri laughed again, "I'm skinny-dipping of course."
Lance went beet red, "Uh. I'm-do-er-uh."
Sheri laughed and turned around, "C'mon! It feels great! And it'll get all that orange juice off you."
Lance hesitated. They were only friends, but that didn't mean he didn't find her extremely attractive. She had long brown hair she had died bright red, green eyes, and a curvy body. He sighed, now was not the time to hesitate. He quickly stripped out of all his clothes and jumped into the water. Sheri turned around and smiled, "It feels awesome, right?"
Lance nodded, it did feel pretty good. Sheri laughed and splashed water at him to hide her blush. Lance was pretty good looking for a nerd. He had curly blond hair, hazel eyes, and the smallest hint of abs. Lance splashed back, he had to admit that today was the greatest day of his life... And the last.
He hid his worry from Sheri. She seemed to of forgotten that they were all going to die the next day, and he didn't want to ruin it for her. The thought of the world ending made his heart clench. He had to tell Sheri. He had to tell he that he was totally in love with her. He had been since 6th grade, but did he ever tell her that. Of course not.
Sheri stopped splashing and looked up at the sky, "What time is it?"
He shrugged, "My phone's in my pants pocket."
Sheri covered her eyes with her hands, "Well, go check."
Lance hesitated. Sheri giggled, "I'll be a good girl, I won't peek."
Lance sighed and went to check his phone. It was 6:42. He sighed sadly and plopped the phone onto his clothes.
"It's 6:42!" He called.
Sheri nodded, "Get dressed! It's your turn! I'll meet you in the truck."
He agreed and slipped his clothes on quickly, "I'm done!" He called and headed back to the truck.
Sheri jumped onto the pier once he was a safe distance away and pulled her clothes on. She grabbed her purse and danced to the truck. Lance was waiting inside, and looked like he was in deep thought. Sheri jumped in the passanger side, "Where to now, Jeeves?"
Lance shook his head, "Jeeves was a valet, dear."
Sheri shrugged and pulled a bag of jelly beans out of her purse. Lance cranked the truck and gave her a sideways glance, "Why is there jellybeans in your purse?"
Sheri sighed and gave him a very serious look, "There are many things a woman must keep in her purse, Lance. And jellybeans are one of those things."
Lance laughed, "And what else, pray-tell, dose a woman such as yourself keep in her purse?"
Sheri gave a matter-of-factly sigh, "Well if you must know." She began pulling things out of her purse, "Wallet, brush, iPod, mascara, eyeliner, notebook, pen, pencil, extra tampons," Lance blushed, Sheri continued, "Phone, sunglasses, chapstick, and bits of old paper and candy wrappers."
Lance eyes her giant purse, "My dear Lord, and it fits in there?"
Sheri nodded, "I could probslly fit a body in here."
Lance laughed, "I don't wanna know how you would know the proper size of a body bag."
Sheri laughed and through a jellybean at him. Lance dodged it and pulled into the mall. He grabbed Sheri's hand and pulled her into the giant building.
Again, the mall was nearly empty. He found the moterized wheel chairs and sat her down in one. She was grinning from ear to ear, "I like how you think, Trawick."
With that, they both took off theough the empty corridors of the mall, laughing and yelling at each other the whole way.
"First one to the Starbucks is the ultimate ruler of awesome!" Sheri yelled, speeding ahead of Lance. He leaned forward and was neck-and-neck with Sheri. She laughed and turned the other way. Lance quickly chased after her, not wanting her to cheat. After countless minutes of laughing and going back and forth throught the mall, Sheri finally pulled into the Starbucks.
"Ha! I won!" She exclaimed victoriously.
Lance got off his wheel chair and rolled his eyes, :I let you win."
Sheri laughed, "Yeah, sure." she looked around at the empty Starbucks, "You think I could make my own Caramal Frappichino?"
Lance shrugged, "If you manage to, make me one."
Sheri nodded and went behind the counter and started singing, "Tell me where our time went, and if it was time well spent!"
Lance smiled, she couldn't sing to save her life, but she was still adorable. Sheri shouted and got Lance's attention. He jumped up, "What happened?!"
Sheri jumped back to where he was, "I don't know how, but I've somehow managed to catch the store on fire!"
Lance laughed as they ran from the mall.

Once back in the truck, Sheri checked the time and sighed, "It's 8:00." Her voice was small and sad.
Lance gave her a worried glance, "Hey." he told her, she looked at him, "Don't worry. Where do you wanna go?"
Sheri brightened, "I have to go back to the mall for a sec."
He sighed and turned off the car, "I'll wait here." Sheri smiled and ran off.

Thirty minutes later, Sheri came running back to the truck, a dress bag in her arms. She jumped in, "To the Seanger!"
Lance asked no questions and sped
