/> When we get home, I have a quick cold shower and help mum with the cooking for dad.

The next boiling day, I stay in my pyjamas reading my gossip girl magazine lying on my double bed as the weather is so hot, its hard to stand it.
Knock knock.
“come in.” I sit up.
It’s Tom, who else could it be?
“good morning.” he pops his head out the door.
“hey” I itch my head.
He sits in the corner of the bed.
“could I ask you something?”
“sure.” I nod and close the magazine.
“I think your friend Chloe is very cute, could I have her number?” he blushes.
I’ve never seen Tom blush before in my whole entire life, probably this is his first time he actually fell in love with someone.
“really, yesterday she told me that your very charming.” I fiddle with my tied hair.
“really?” he glances at himself from the mirror attached to my pink painted wall.
“oh yeah.” I giggle.
“anyways, could I have her number.” he takes out his blackberry bold from his front pocket.
“sure, 07622443890.” I watch him type the number in the box and save it as Chloe with a heart next to it.
Just then I receive a message from Chloe saying she will be coming over mine in an hour.
“who is it from?” Tom asks.
“Chloe, she’s coming round in a bit.”
“serious, I need to get ready.” he jumps off the bed and leaves the room.

I take half an hour to get ready. I change into my pink crop-top that has the word “Awesome” printed in the middle in a bold font. I put on my dark tight blue jeans.
I skip downstairs seeing Tom in his best outfit, smelling great and his hair looks lovely, need to statue that. For his bottom wear, he has a black canvas trousers and for his top wear he has a yellow printed t-shirt. He has his hair front bit spiked up very high, done deliberately. He glances at his hair every two seconds now about five times, fixing it every time he sees it.
Knock knock.
Tom runs to the door.
“hello.” he opens the door wide enough for Chloe to come through.
“hey.” she answers. He peers her as she takes of her red sandals and hooks her black jacket onto the silver, screwed peg behind the door.
“hey babes.” she gives me a soft hug and a kiss on my cheek.
After an hour later, I and Chloe go into my room. Unexpectedly, Tom softly knocks on the wooden windowed door as soon as we get in.
“not now, were talking here.” I go mad.
“please.” he begs.
“alright, alright ], only 10 minutes.” I get annoyed.
He comes in the room with his guitar. He sits on the computer chair. I guess he’s going to play a song he made up to impress Chloe and to get her attention.

When your eyes look into my eyes and my eyes look into your soul
We both see something that together we can hold
We have a spiritual connection that no one can break
The love we have is real, it will never be fake
The way our spirits incline and the way our minds combine
We make a beautiful couple and our light will always shine
I never knew that love could be this way
I never saw something so beautiful until I saw your face
I will always and forever keep you in my arms
You will always be my lucky charm

When he finishes playing, all I notice is Chloe smiling and her crystal eyes glowing.
“its lovely, did you make it up your self?” Chloe asks looking in the air, probably re-seeing the past scene over and over again.
“thanks, and yes I wrote the lyrics.” Tom replies in a cool way, sort of flirty.
“that’s good.” she says in a sweet way.
“nice.” Tom acts cool. Looking at him self in the mirror as always, stroking his facial hair face. At last he leaves.
Tom is a likeable guy but he can be painfully sometimes.
“he’s really cute.” Chloe statues.
I shot her a half smile and she does the same. We end up watching a ‘Scary Movie 3’ in my large plasma T.V.

1 WEEK LATER.

Chapter 2

Two good news!
First, really importantly, GET READY! Tom and Chloe are going out. YES! I know, im so happy for behalf of them. Its been now three days. They went out for four dates. Second good news is, I, Chloe and Claire joined a weekend swimming club. Today is out first day. Tom leaves us to the leisure centre and goes to inspect a good job for him self as he feels bored sitting in the house alone. As we walk in the changing room, I can smell chlorine.
“ I’m your new swimming teacher, Mr. James.” he introduces him self im a simple way.
“sit down.” he makes us sit on the wet cold floor far away from the pool.
It takes us two minutes to settle down.
“im going to give you tips to help you improve the most popular stroke of all - basic front crawl, before I start, some of us might not know what a crawl means, can please one of you explain what a crawl means to the rest of the group.” sir tasks us.
“could I.” I put my hand up high.
“yes you, what’s your name?.” he points.
“im Ellie everyone, basically what a crawl means is the move on the hands and knees or by dragging the body close to the ground.” I announce.
“fantastic, very details description.” sir claps.
I feel so proud of myself, im just so brainy.
“okay, as we all now know what crawl means, we can now start the lesson, it can be hard to get the hang of it at first because fitting in the breathing can be difficult. Step 1, When you first try front crawl , swim with all of your body close to the surface of the water, keeping your hips and legs behind your shoulders, just like this.” he shows us. And he continues “ step 2, use your legs to keep you up and help you balance, try to use long fast kicks making sure all of your legs is moving up and down. Your knees should bend a little bit and your feet should make a small splash. Step 3, your arms are your power, like the engine of a car. One arm should follow the other arm through the water and over the top. Try putting your hand into the water in front of your head and stretch it forwards as far as it will go, slicing it into the water with your thumb first, the less splash the better. Step 4, Once you mastered the arms you can increase your speed by bending your elbow and pushing your hand towards your feet. Step 5, your breathing is the key part of the stroke. Breath regularly to keep it going. You face is always in the water so you need to remember to turn your head when you want to take a breath. Try to turn your head very smoothly, leaving the side of your head resting in the water. If you do this incorrectly, you will spoil all of the other good things you have done so far, so be careful, next lesson we will learn how to do a intermediate crawl.” sir demonstrates all these steps in the pool so we fully understand what he really means. It looks simple and easy. We went through the safety rules, the names of the equipment we will be using during the swimming lessons. For the rest of the hour we practise the basic front crawl. Which I think is a good way to end the day with something simple as ABC and not tiring.
When Tom picks us up, he breaks the good news by saying he found a good job for him self in the ICT technician area as a web designer where he would need to design web pages, add sounds or short film clips to the web page. Luckily Tom has qualifications which gave the chance to him to quickly find the job easily.
As where all starving to death and hadn’t eaten since the morning, Tom drives us to the corner restaurant which only takes about 10 minutes.
Chloe and I order the same thing, rice, chicken and salad.
Claire orders, rice and potato.
Tom asks for chips and big piece of chilly breast. (chicken)

In the evening, I calmly start to get ready to go swimming. I settle my towel, pink swimming costume, goggles and hat inside my aqua sack. On arrival, we all join the long queue, snaking its way around the pool. A charming boy is drawn to my attention from the corner of my eye. He’s new I believe. His skin tone, honey colour which I believe attracts girls attention, such as me. He is tall and slim. Hair slicked down. His neatly trimmed thin sideburns along the jaw line gives me the impression that he is a teenage. I notice his diamonded shiny three rows of piercing on left ear. He is wearing white stripy swimming cropped pants. When he catches me staring at him he gives me a full smile. Did he just shot me a smile or am I dreaming?

Mike

Her silky, straight, long blond hair gracefully falls down to her shoulders and encircles her diamond-shaped face.
A golden suntan usually brings out her smooth, clear complexion and high cheek bones.
Her large deep blue eyes, reminds me of a lake on a stormy day. Her small nose, gives her a little girl look that makes me want to smile when she looks at me. And her full lips makes me want to kiss her. Her white teeth brighten ups her whole face. I guess you can tell that I am head over in love with her.

Ellie

We finally sit down after a hard warming up session.
“as I said last week we will learn the intermediate crawl, the first step in intermediate phrase is improving your head position. Who knows what a intermediate means?”
He puts his hand up. The new guy.
“you.” Mr. James points at him.
“its being or occurring at the middle place.” he informs us.
“well done.” he grins.
“now we can start the lesson, step 2, it is curial that you keep your legs close together. To keep the body in a straight line, you will need to use the long shallow kick which I told you for the basic front crawl last lesson. Anyways, step 3: now we will need to try to improve the power of the arms. Power of the arms are important. The way you use your arms will make a real difference to the standard of your front crawl. Step4: you need to make sure you can keep going by getting the right amount of breath. You will be able to take a breath more easily if you strongly blow in the water first. Step 5, you should now be able to kick, pull and breath. Keep the legs kicking all of the time and the arms following each other, just like this.” sir fills us with information. He demonstrates it before we have a try to see how it will work and how it will feel. We have a good practice for half an hour.
I get inside the changing room straight
