off when the lesson is over, wrapping myself with my pink towel.
I swiftly dry my self with my towel, all over, head to toe.
I hurriedly grab my hair brush from my aqua sack, I face the mirror and push through my blond hair gently.
Now that I am finishes brushing my hair, I examine through my pink purse for 20 pence for the hair drier machine.
20 pence for 2 minutes
40 pence for 4 minutes
50 pence for 5 minutes
I don’t like my hair dry fully so I install 20 pence inside the drier machine , push the ‘on’ button. I am now done, I wait for Chloe and Claire outside the changing room.
“im out, how long have you been waiting for?” Chloe informs
“maybe 10 minutes.” I reply
“I and Tom are going to the cinema to see a surprise movie, im so excited.” she jumps up and down like a kangaroo.
“cool, have fun.” I voice and smile at the same time.
She revives a message from Tom telling her to meet him in the car park as he is there waiting for her.
“im off now, see you in a bit.” she hugs me gently and runs off.
I and Claire have to take the 279 bus, stop at the Kennedy road, take 349 bus and it will take us to my house. Long isn’t it?
I and Claire in a slow speed walk through the half empty car park. Suddenly someone softly pats me on my left shoulder. I twirl around to see what that person wants and I miss a heart beat. it’s the new guy I noticed in my swimming lesson. The one that shot me a full some and I couldn’t believe it. Do you remember? J
“yes?” I speak
“could I talk to you for a moment please, privately.”
I wink at Claire, a signal between us three which means ‘ im fine, brb.’
“im Mike, new to the swimming club.”
“I’m Ellie.” I stare at his large blue crystal eyes which reminds me of the beach.
Abruptly I get a message from mum telling me to home now as I need to cook for dad, she will be running home late. My mum has a office based job, as a newspaper article.
“sorry but I really need to go home now.” I close the text message and start to speed up my pace.
“wait, at least tell me your age.” he tightly grabs hold of my wrist.
I pause.
“15, you?”
"wicked, same age as me.”
“okay, nice to meet you, I need to go now bye.” I wave.
“see you.” he waves back.
On the way home, I and Claire talk about the new guy ‘Mike’ Claire says she personally thinks he’s cute, he has well-formed body and that he suits me.
She makes me laugh sometimes. HAHAHA.
When I get home, I see dad in his cotton stripy pyjamas leaning back at his white rocking chair, his glasses on, concentrating on reading his book he started reading yesterday.
“hello daddy.” I kiss him hard on his both wrinkled cheeks.
“hello my princess.” he hugs me tight.
Since I was born my dad used to call me princess and he still does.
I bake dad pasta with chilly tomato sauce on top. Pasta is his favourite meal out of all.
Three weeks left for summer to end. L
Not very long. Its in a short period of time. I really don’t want school to be open again. Im really enjoying my summer holiday.
For the whole day I stay in my room spending my time drawing. I draw a detailed self portrait , then a portrait of Tom. I colour them in with my pencil colours trying to make them the best of my ability.
Them Mike flows in my mind. The scene re-plays over and over again like when the radio goes made. I find myself drawing a portrait of Mike. When I finish with it I slip it inside my art folder and place it inside my bag not wanting it to be lost or damaged.
I take my new white HP laptop out the locked draw, log in and wait for the programmes to load up so I can ‘x’ all.
I feel so bored, in the search box I rapidly type in ‘Google’ and click on enter. When that opens up, I type in ‘Jane Norman’ and hit the enter button. I click the first site that pops up. The home page lads up.
I look through women’s area, tops, trousers, shoes, accessories.
The following days I do the usual, go out with the girls. But this Wednesday the 12th is a special day, its Claire’s 15th birthday. Its going to be in the pub. Im so excited about it. I’m more than excited then Claire I guess.
There’s two days left, not counting today. I get changed into something comfortable and plain like Nike grey rack suit which makes me look big even thought I m slim and eat a lot, I mean a lot, I probably eat more then you do. I tie my hair into a bun and walk out the house.
On the way I count how much cash mum left me on the window sill before she went work. Luckily I have enough to buy a birthday card, birthday bag and a mini present.
When I enter the shop, there’s hardly anyone, I march to the jewellery area as I know Claire admires jewelleries.
One catches my eye, pink beaded necklace and crystal bangles. I grab hold of them as I ask the worker to wrap it with a pink happy birthday wrapper.
While she does that I go to the birthday bag area and chose a eye catching bag(pink, glittery, has three butterflies.)
I then pick a large birthday card that has the phrase ‘ to my best friend, happy birthday’
The bag was large enough for the card to fit in. “finish darling” she waves her hand high to get my attention as I am staring into the air.
“oh thank you.” I run up to the cashing area.
“how much was that?”
“total £15” she says.
I open my purse, get my 15 pounds note out and hand it over to the worker.
“thank you, bye.” I swing the bag and exit as soon as possible.
When I arrive home at 3:00pm I do all my preparation for Wednesday.
Today is Wednesday wohoo!
I take my time to have my long hot bath. I do everything I need such as shave my armpits and legs. I leave my hair dry naturally. I chose to do my make up in the bathroom as the mirror is a bit larger then mine in my room.
I face the bathroom mirror. I unzip my cosmetic bag. Full of make up!
I apply my light toned foundation on my soft cheek, chin, nose and forehead with a foundation brush. I blend outwards using the brush. I pay attention to my jaw line and hairline to ensure there’s no obvious foundation line.
I line the upper and lower lashes with my black eyeliner. I apply the mascara creating feline flicks. I use my powder foundation softly building up the coverage using circular motions until I achieve the desired finish.
I apply concealer under my eyes, around the nose and to the other areas even though I don’t have any redness or spots on my face. I blend It by tapping it into my skin to create flawless finish. Last but not least I apply my flirty fuchsia long lasting lipstick.
As that my long side fringe is straight, I plug my babyliss curler and curl the rest of my hair bit by bit carefully wanting it to be as perfect as it could be. I spray a very huge amount of my perfume which has a long lasting smell.
Tom collects us all and drives us to Claire’s house.
Chloe is wearing a white crop top, light blue shorts, she has her hair down which suits her more than in a bun or anything else.
Claire was just plain and natural. She has a very little amount of light make up which you hardly see. Her hair was plated to a side, very different style. She has a new pink dotted knee length dress with a large white bow in the middle. She looked nice I have to say.
so the rest is not finished, but i will publish the rest.
