a beautiful glow. She smiled staring at him in all his innocence. Thank you God she thought as she looked at him sleeping peacefully. Then she rememebered everything and it all feel down upon her. Like a ton of bricks crashing down on her burrying her beneath its weight. She thought of the baby she was carrying and did not feel at all the same. Thinking of this baby filled her with dread, because of the uncertainty of the entire situation and it made her feel even more terrible for thinking of a growing baby( (her growing baby) that way. I cant do this she thought. Im sorry she told the life growing by the min, unaware of the world outside or the feelings of its host.
Silent tears fell from Carols eyes, rolled across her face and soaked the pillow beneath her.
"Forgive me Lord for having these thoughts. Forgive me for being so weak." She whispered softly.
Her mind once again drowning in doubts and her chest welling up with sadness.
