jewelry store and everyone is starring at me. Damn it I forgot to put my hood back up. I was about to back up and go back into the jewelry store when someone from the crowd in front of me grabbed me, and covered my mouth so I couldn’t be heard.
“HELP,” I hummed because it was muffled by the hand. Everyone was torn between helping me and dying if they help me. Their right, they shouldn’t risk their life for me. I looked at the jewelry store and saw Dominic talking to Melissa not even looking out of the store, Melissa could tell something was happening because of the bedlam outside. She looked over the crowd from inside the store than spotted me and screamed I could hear it from out here. She placed her shaky hand over her mouth and pointed to me for Dominic to see. I tried to reach for my knife when the person who captured me bent my hand away and twisted it to my back. I yelped in pain, the burning started in my hand. I began to try to kick him when he cuffed my feet together. So, if I try anything, he/she is just going to stop it wonderful. I close my eyes and use my mind ability to gather some of the energy around me. Once I did so, I shot it at my capturer. I knew it worked once the hand moved away from my mouth and I was untouched, I blew up the cuffs with the remainder of energy left. I tried to move my hand but it just ached even more. I bit my lip stopping myself from making any noise.
“The princess is in pain,” one of the Pleasants called out from the very silent crowd. A doctor came forward to me and bowed I nodded my head and showed her my hand. She placed hers over mine and began to heal it, once it was fully recovered she ripped her dress and wrapped it around my hand.
“I’ll buy you a new dress, you didn’t have to ruin yours for me,” I whispered quietly, afraid that if I spoke any louder they’d hear the fright in my voice.
“It was my honor princess Kai,” she replied with a smile. I gave her enough gold for a gown I would’ve bought plus food for her family. She looked up at me dumbfounded, I just smiled and thanked her. I saw Dominic and I took a step to walk and my ankles hurt unimaginably so, I trip and fall unto the hard contrite floor.
“This sucks,” I mumble and everyone laughs. I close my eyes and just laid there not planning on getting up any time soon. Dominic came over to me and picked me up bridal style.
“What I was only taking a nap,” I said slyly. The healer came back up to me and placed her hands on my ankles, I just realized they were bleeding. The cuffs couldn’t have been that tight.
