Mars was once a planet like earth, it had ocean and forests, rivers and beaches even small deserts. It was inhabited by beings similar to humans, slightly taller with bigger eyes and a higher blood temperature.
Over time these beings built towns and cities and started mining oil and precious minerals and rocks out of the ground. Eventually the pollution started, the sky was grey all the time and the rain started to bite into the beings clothing and skin. The planet was crumbling away they could see that, yet they did not stop polluting and taking away from the planets life.
One day the planet started to tremor, a few of the major cities collapsed killing hundreds and forcing billions to move into the smaller sections. The temperature of the water started to rise making it almost impossible to drink without using space ice to cool it, crops started to fail and the outer layer of the planet started to crumble. Still the beings did not stop taking away from the planet. Then the infection started; young children and infants began to get extremely sick and paralysed as the elderly died. They then begun to realise what was happening but by then it was to late. A few of the beings in secret built a space craft to take them to another planet closer to the sun that had almost the same surface as their own planet. They had promised each other never to make the same mistake as their species had
A few hours after these few left the outer layer of their planet exploded out wards creating a desolate desert planet in its place.
The beings landed on our earth just as it reached a stable point with plants, but it was to hot here for them and they died there bodies crumbling to dust. Some of the larger bacteria on there skeletons began to evolve and transmorph eventually the bacteria became humans. Now we are making the same mistakes as the beings eventually our world will crumble as well…
