Her soft skin relflected the light as I watched her, laying in that beautiful green grass. She got up and started skipping, prancing on light pixy feet as her long flowing black hair flew behind her like a bird of paradise's tail. I sighed, not knowing when i should present the hidden wedding ring. She was so graceful, like a blooming bud of a rose, you could see woman hood in her face at it's fullest. I sighed again and watched the gorgeous girl fall into the flowers. Caroline. Her name flowed off my tongue with the eternal love I would always hold for her. She was like a big beautiful majestic mountain, lost in her own happy, care free thoughts. Her hazel eyes were like liquid, for you could swim forever in them. Faraway memorys of us came back, just the two of us alone, side by side next to our dead friend, Lucas. My heart clenched as I stared after the girl. I was siting in the grass when she came up to me, like a beaming sun. She lay down and talked to me, about flowers, pine forests, about things that were beautiful. I listened to her, drawing in here sweet voice like it was life. She got up and ran back to the vally of flowers, calling my name. David, She had called, David come look at the beautiful flowers! I got up and went to her, feeling as if i were floating, and I carassed her cheek. She smiled to me and began to hum, her voice drawing you into a heavanly life without the care of the world. Her eyes reflected the silver clouds as she looked up and at me. I suddenly found myself drawing her into an embrace. She held me as memorys of Lucas came flooding into my mind. She held my shaking body as she would hold on for dear life, that is she let go, I would be lost. A small box fell from my pocket in what seemed like slow motion, and she picked it up, her curious eyes blooming with beauty. I looked at her and then back to the box as she opened it. A small gasp was barely audible as she looked at me.The wedding ring. Then I was in another thight embrace as she kissed me gently on the lips, tears of joy slipping from her eyes, making them glassy. There was no need for words here. My dear, lovely Caroline was finally mine. And her sweet sugar voice whispered in my ear softly, I love you, David. I whispered a reply and pulled her down into the grass with me, no more sad or mournful memories in my mind. All there was was her. And me. And we were happy.
