It was the last day of school, there was crying, giggling and most of all hugging. It was the last day of the seventh grade, and the Converse Club was splitting up for the first time. Rikki was moving to California, Jessica was going to a new college prepatory school, Selena was going to Public school, and Taylor was staying at the same school.
While everyone else had fun, the four girls sat in the corner weeping their eyes out. They had known each other since pre-school, amd were not ready to separate.
The clock finally struck 3:30, and everyone had to leave. Lucky for the girls they had what they thought was their a last sleepover forever.
The night was filled with secrets, regrets, and giggles. They were up and active 'till about 3:00 a.m.When all the girls woke up, they hugged, ate, and cried. For the first time ever Jessica even let them use her lime-green permanite marker to sign their sneakers. As doorbells rang, each girl left one-by-one.
* Rikki's Perspective*
I sat in the car while my sister, Ceci sang showtunes. I couldn't understand it. Why wasn't she sad? When I was eight, I still would've been sad leaving my bffls for who knows how long. Her squeaky voice got louder and louder as the radio's high note went on even louder. We were on our way to the airport. We were getting ready to move.
I was suprised to see the other girls at the airport awaiting my arrival. I hugged each one of them twice except Taylor who did not approve of hugging. We had 10 extra minutes before the flight left. We spent that time dancing randomly until my flight was called.
As my flight was called, my eyes once again began water. I pulled my little sister's arm and pushed her ahead of me. The only thing awaited was my new future, and my friends future replacing me. a long stream of tears passed apon my face. The plane ride was looong and boring, and I sat next to my sister who was singing "Alligators all Around" the whole ride.
When I stepped off the plane, a whole new world of oppertunities awaited. I couldn't believe I was living in L.A. I couldn't wai to start my new acting career. I had the whole summer.
*Jessica's Perspective*
In the last few weeks, I conquered three new things. I said good-bye to my friends, learned how to horseback ride, and I tamed the un-tamable boy who I babysit.I love living in Miami, theres always a beach no more than a mile away. For the next week I will live at the beach. I am a geunine beach bum.
I giggled and thought to myself. It would be a great time to get to know my new neighbor (who is death.) All summer my goal is to learn sign language and communicate with the girl next door. She is really nice, and is going to my new prepatory school. She'd probally make a really good friend. I always wanted my boring life to become more diverse.
I went outside to play on tree swing. I went back and forth continuously. I loved the way the wind blew through my long beautiful hair. I suddenly sppotted Selena on a scooter ride with another girl.
I jumped off the swing and landed hand-first into a mud puddle. That didn't stop me, I got up and ran full speed to catch up with her. I was catching up, I was gaining faster. I caught up and grabbed the other girl's curly red pigtails hair with all my might. she was freaking out, I had basicly pulled her off the scooter.
Finally, I was introduced to Cathrine, Selena's new friend. Cathrine went to Jefferson Middle School, the same school Selena would attend.
Cathrine was new in town, and Selena was showing her around.
Cathrine seemed nice, she picked up a flower and handed it to me. Her long hair blew in the wind.
I was going to go to summer camp, so I would have the whole summer to make my new friends.
*Selena's perspective*
I've spent the last three weeks, at home. I managed to get a new neighbor, Cathrine. We have become very close and have play dates often. I ran into Jessi last weekend, I didn't really talk to her much. She and Cathrine seemed to like each other (i think.) I probally should visit Taylor, though she lives pretty far away.
I'm very scared to start public school, I have been in Catholic School my whole life. I went to my living room. I picked up the phone and dialed cathrine's number, even though i've only known her for 4 weeks, we've become great friends.
Within 10 minutes Cathrine arrived. We quickly slipped on our bathing suits and ran inside my front yard. My mom turned on the sprinklers, and we ran back and forth for hours. Tehn we decided to play on my playground.Cathrine fell off the swing. I leaned down to help her up and spotted Taylor up in the tree. I could only stop and stare. Thats when she fell out onto the grass.
*Taylor's Perspective*
Ouch! I fell and hit my head really hard.
