Obscured from the eyes of mankind… far beyond the reach of the tiniest ray of light… deep within the bowels of Hell, rest a circular chamber carved from blue-black onyx. High above the floor gleams a domed ceiling supported by a double row, of thick round columns. A majestic, overpowering, matching throne resides precisely in the center of the room.

At rest on the throne is a magnificent winged creature. The white-as-snow wings extend from the lustrous black floor to a foot above the creatures head. The feathers are as smooth and sleek as satin. The beauty of the statue of David pales to plain in comparison to the creature’s face and form. Its physique is lithe and impeccably fit. Flawless alabaster skin graces the creature’s face. A strong, square jaw, full carmine lips, and eyes bluer than the deepest Caribbean water complete the awe inspiring effect. Silky, platinum hair hangs past his shoulders and glows as if kissed by the stars. The utter perfection of his beauty is on the verge of grotesque. Housed beneath the creature’s radiance, beats a heart as cold as ice, and as hard as tempered steel. The residing soul fills the interior cavity with evil as black as pitch.

The creature stands as an arrogant orator addressing a crowd, although the chamber appears to be empty. On closer inspection, moving shadows could be seen in the dark recesses between each column, where the legions of demons the creature commands are concealed. His eyes pierced through the camouflaging darkness, as he began to address his audience.

“For centuries, I have placed tyrants at the head of the world’s most influential governments. Each a puppet whose strings I controlled, but one, by one, they failed to complete their purpose. Throttled by the Good that is for now, granted authority over my power.”

The blackness within him rose like bile to creep across the beautiful face in the form of a sneering smile.

“But the age old ‘love thy neighbor’ attitude of mankind is fading. Empathy and compassion are dying emotions. Soon, without thought, they will willingly fall into my hands. With their apathy they will blindly denounce their Creator, falling on their knees before me.”

“The arrogance of mankind leaves them weak and vulnerable to well placed whispers of distrust, discontent and selfishness. How easily I have caused the fall of the world’s mightiest empires through the ages. America, the pearl of democracy, will be no different. The puppet I have placed at its head is shrewd in his bid to control his people. The lies that easily flow from his lips drip with honeyed sweetness. They are unaware of his move to enslave them by taking away their ambition and creativity, leaving them dependent and bound to their government. The strings of this puppet are firmly in my grasp. He will dance to my piping. When this, the greatest of nations, falls, my hand will extend to catch it. This collapse will be the catapult that begins the decline of the world.”

He slowly turns in a circle, sweeping his hand around the room.

“Now, my disciples, I command you to ascend upon the earth to spread whispers of fear, aggression and chaos.”

A wooden crossbar appeared in his out stretched hand. The attached strings extending to the puppet bowing before his master as thundering, demented laughter filled the chamber.
