The Batter King


Chapter 1 A New Teammate


Today Was the Day for Jackson Lewis. They just chose him to play for the Cleveland Indians. Jackson Lewis was very excited even though he miss his family. Jackson is about 28 years old. He didn’t went to college to become a professional baseball player. He Just went to the try outs. Well the phone rang and Jackson pick it up. “ Hello, Jackson Lewis,” spoke Jackson. “ Hi there, Mr.Lewis this is Bobby Bow, your coach.” “ Yes, Coach?” “ I want to say that if you could come to the stadium and meet us there?” “Sure” answer Jackson. They both hang up. Finally Jackson Lewis is a new Teammate for the Cleveland Indians.


Chapter 2 A Surprising News


Jackson is in his house watching TV until his door got knocked. He stood up and opened it up. " Are you Jackson Lewis?" A man with a black hat and a Tuxedo that probably cost it Three- hundred Dollars. "Yes," answer Jackson Lewis. " We have something to tell you," " What is it?" Then the man whose name is Zak looked at the car and then there came a 14 year old boy dress with Cleveland indians clothes. The boy came running and stood in front of Zak. " This is Will, your ex-wife died in a car crash, We looked over her paper and it said that the only family member was you." Then Jackson was confuse so he was going to talk into Zac was gone. This was not a good day for Jackson Lewis.


Chapter 3 A Time For Father And Son

Jackson was at his bed talking in the phone talking to his Dad. " Dad, I didn't even knew that Jenny had a son, and now his here with me." " Listen son I know how you feel, but this could be your change to spend more time with your Son then being The Batter King, you what I mean?" "Yeah, but I don't even know how to take care of a kid." " Well just do stuff that I used to do with you." "Alright then, see-yaw." Both of them hang up. Jackson went to Will's room and "Said" So Will wanna go play some baseball?" The boy shook his head with a yes. They both got the bat and a glove and headed to that baseball stadium of the little League.So Now It was time for a Father and Son time.


Chapter 4 A Bad Game


It is a big game for the Cleveland Indians and especially for Jackson. Jackson was up to bat. The Pitcher through the first pitch. It was a strike for Jackson. His First strike of year. Nobody couldn't believed what they saw. There was the second pitch and it was a strike two. Jackson couldn't believed what was going on with him. The Pitcher through the third pitch and he was out. When Coach saw what happen he was mad. " What is going on with you, is it the son of yours, you gotta get rid of him if you want to stay in my team. Do you understand me!?" Jackson had played for the Cleveland Indians For Ten years now and this was his first time getting out. He didn't Know what to do except give up Will. But he didn't want to. Probably it is time to retired and a have fun relationship between Father and Son. No matter what happens. His Father was right he should quit and have free time with a son he didn't see for fourteen years. He made his mind up.


Chapter 5 Are You Sure?


" Are you sure about this Jackson, this was your dream, behind rich, and Fame but now you are going to spoil things up!" Shout Coach Bobby." Coach I already did what I want and now this is my change to spend time with my son, I sure had fun playing for your team Coach." Bobby was about to scream but instead he "said'' Will, your the one so I guess is a good-bye. They both shake hands and went off.


Chapter 6 The End


Jackson and Will became a best Father and Son relationship, it almost look like they were best friends. But No matter what Jackson Lewis was in the Hall of Fame and named The Batter King.
