"Olivia! Why are you late?" I exclaimed to my best friend.
My name is Willow. I'm 15 years old and I have curly brown hair. I'm pale-skinned and I have a strong, loud voice. I can be a bit bossy sometimes.
Olivia, my best friend since third grade, is beautiful. She has light blue eyes, black wavy hair, olive skin, and a very soft voice. She can make friends easily, but she's shy and anti-social, so she doesn't have many friends. She also tends to hide her problems from me, which pisses me off, but hey, I can't force her to tell me what's wrong, can I?
Olivia shrugged. "My mom woke up late."
I sighed. "Again?" Olivia nodded. I sighed again.
"I'm gonna ask my mother if you can stay at my house for the night." Olivia's eyes widened and she shook her head. "No, please don't," She said. I looked up at her. "Why not?"
She shook her head. "Just please don't."
I tilted my head in confusion, then I shrugged. I grabbed her hand. "C'mon. We're gonna be late."
No sooner had those words left my mouth, the school bell went off. I widened my eyes and tugged at Olivia's hand. "We gotta hurry!" I yelled.
I let go of Olivia's hand and ran off to the classroom. Olivia followed behind me.
I violently opened the classroom door to see the teacher not in the classroom. Weird. The teacher should've been here by now.
"Hey, Willow." Joel, the school jock, threw a football at me, which I caught.
"Hey, Joel. Do you know where Mrs. Robinson is?" I asked him when he walked over. Joel shook his head.
"Nope. I don't know where she is." He shrugged.
"Huh. Weird." I turned to look at Olivia, who was staring off into space.
"Hey, Olivia?" I said. She didn't answer, didn't budge.
"Olivia." I stood in front of her. "Earth to Olivia."
Olivia shook her head and looked up at me. "Hmm?"
I shook my head. "Nothing."
Olivia smiled sweetly. I frowned and looked away. "Let's get to our seats." I turned and headed to my seat.
Olivia is a sweet girl. She's beautiful, kind, caring, and very good with babies and animals. I'm really glad I met her. I'd be lost without her.
Mrs. Robinson walks into the classroom. "Everyone! To their seats please!" She smiled. She turned and looked at Olivia with a pained expression. I looked to my side, to see Olivia staring off into space again.
Mrs. Robinson quickly shook her head. She smiled and walked to the front of the classroom.
"Alright, everyone." She smiled once more. "Take out your pencils and notebooks. We will be learning something new today."
