maneuvering on it but this time with shoes on, meaning she got the hang of it eventually. Her medium length pixie hair started to form more shards of ice, as she was using more and more of her powers. She even formed an ice crown on her head for fun, to look like the mythological ice queen as she started to form crystallized ice shards towards the targets and freezing the blocks in entire ice cube formations.

Veronica signaled Allison to fire up the dummies. Veronica raised the palms of her hands to form ice to help get rid of the fiery dummies rather than freeze them in blocks of ice. She managed in the first attempt without error. She was beginning to understand her ice abilities, her body was beginning to feel less numb and the temperature of her body was beginning to stabilize as soon as she began to accept herself and her powers. As she created an ice slide, maneuvering herself on it, her left foot lost balance and she landed on her behind sliding down the ice slide she had formed. She giggled as Allison laughed at her for landing on her behind, while trying to control her movements on the slide.

Allison looked around the simulated training grounds as she started to expand her imagination and powers. She imagined more magical creatures and let her thoughts go freely, rather than constrain them like she did in school the past couple of days. She imagined a desert sand box with a live cactus, lizards, hot desert animals within that sandbox as she looked at it in admiration. She changed the sandbox into an ice box with a penguin, along with other arctic animals sliding around the thick ice base. She watched in amazement at her mind mapping abilities. She let her imagination take her anywhere. As her imagination came to life more and more, it flowed very nicely while the training grounds were still in play.

Lastly, Aiden took a deep breath and looked at the dummy targets, as he started to use his phasing attacks with wooden and steel panels in the way of the dummies. He managed to strike the dummies despite the paneled materials being in the way, he started to get control of his invisibility and reluctantly found a way to turn it on and off whenever he wanted to, since he fully accepted powers within himself. After about an hour later, Aiden stood in the middle of the field waiting as the four finished their training. They reunited tired from their training.

“Have we trained enough already, Aiden?” Luis complained.

“We are ready,” Aiden said in a hopeful tone and nodded. The five head towards Brian Vanrod’s home.

Chapter 15

Oddball

Date: September 11th, 2020

Every second, the pain increased causing Brian to collapse in the trails of Allentown, as he was trying to get home. He laid with his hands on his stomach, as the pain was still increasing. He yelled in pain, as the cells in his body began to generate with more and more hard rock cells. His arms, body and neck started to form into hard steel and rock. He was going through a geomorphic phase as he screamed in agonizing pain.

The formation of Vanrod’s body had blue-ish and green-ish glowing crevices between the steel and rock skin, whereas remnants of the Chaos Void began to form the rest of his transformation. It was like an elemental Earth creature with dark essence of black smoke surrounding it, standing in the very trails of Allentown. Brian Vanrod was no more, he was nothing but a pure vessel for this odd-looking creature that he transformed into.

The creature spoke in a dark eerie, grounded voice; “Stellar-Beings. No more.”

The giant rock like creature formed into a ball and started accelerating through the trails on the look for Aiden Alves and the rest of the Stellar-Beings that he had encountered earlier.

The five started their search for Brian Vanrod by heading towards the neighborhood, running in the trails while Trixie was scouting around with her superspeed. The five patiently waited as they tried to catch up with Trixie, but she was extremely fast. She came back to the team with a rush of adrenaline while previous frames of her movements displayed in a colorful pastel state.

“He’s not even home,” Trixie said.

“Geez,” Luis said. “You’re fast. But where could he be?”

A sudden blaring sound was getting louder and louder, as the five heard it come closer and closer. It sounded like a screeching power saw in a woodshop. It got closer and closer by the second. Trixie saw a huge odd-looking ball rolling towards them.

“Look out,” Trixie screamed as she used her superspeed to move the rest of her friends to the side in time before the giant odd-looking balled creature hit them.

“What the hell was that thing?” Veronica asked.

“I don’t know,” Luis spoke in an unconfident manner. “Some oddball I guess.”

The ball began to form back into its standing form, revealing its glowing crevices of its metalloid rock formation towards the Stellar-Beings who stood there. It began to approach Aiden Alves closer and closer, as Aiden and the others prepared themselves.

“Aiden Alves no more,” it spoke in a grumbled dark tone. “Stellar-Beings no more. You will cease to exist like the Superior-Beings. You will all die!”

“What are you?” Luis demanded.

“Guys, it maybe be a what, but that’s Brian Vanrod I believe,” Aiden spoke as the four stared at him in shock and dismay.

“Brian Vanrod is no more,” the creature spoke. “He is just a piece of my vessel to help me function as a weapon of destruction to eliminate you Stellar-Beings.”

“Not if we take you down first!” Aiden spoke firmly. “Give up while you can, ‘Oddball’.”

“Oh, come on man, you stole my line,” Luis complained immaturely.

The creature whom Aiden named Oddball, began to penetrate
