Breaking the kiss to rest his head against my forehead, Samuel thrusts deep once more and stills groaning my name as he comes.
Neither of us say another word as the two of us catch our breath.
“Damn that was fan-fuckin’-tastic baby,” he murmurs, planting another long searing kiss to my lips. “You ready to go again?” he grins
Giggling for the first time in what feels like forever, I nod my head and wrap my arms around his neck.
“You bet Sammy,” I say.
“Good because I’m gonna fuck you senseless. Then later I’ll do it again. After that, your gonna finally explain to me what the fuck you and Demi do besides help run the guns for your dad,” he states, and I can’t help but groan.
“How about we just leave that in the past? Her and I have retired. Well I have at least,” I mutter, lifting my hips to take him deeper.
“Damn right you are but you're still telling me. I need to know any and all dangers to you and our family,” he growls while slowly sliding in and out of my pussy.
“Fine,” I moan as he begins to pick up speed.
“Love you, Emery,” he murmurs.
“I love you, too. So fuckin’ much.” Pulling his head down not wanting to talk anymore but rather feel. He’s my anchor to feeling alive and I’m his.
This life I know won’t be easy but damn if I’m not going to enjoy every day that I can with this man. He’s my world. Him and our son.
I don’t know what I’d do without either of them.
I met this man when I was sixteen years old. I knew then he was the other half to my soul the way my momma told me I would. She knew my father was hers and she loved him with all her heart until her last breath fighting the cancer that took her from us.
Now I plan to stand by his side the way we were supposed to be doing for the past ten years. Only instead of him working next to my father. I stand by him as his ol’ lady and I will do it proudly.
As Samuel brings me to peak again, I scream his name and come at the same time he does.
Collapsing next to me, my man pulls me into his arms. I close my eyes and drift back to sleep knowing this time the nightmares will be held at bay.
Chapter Twenty
Scorch
Fury consumes me after Emery falls back to sleep. I love being inside my woman and damn for the first time since I got her back, I finally got to sink into her. Every night for the past three nights she’s had nightmares. I’ve barely left her side and same with Stone. While staying at the clubhouse for the party we’d had last night, Stone stayed in his aunt's room giving his mom and I some time alone.
After getting back to the clubhouse I’d taken both my ol’ lady and son home where I held the both of them in my arms comfortingly throughout the rest of the night and well into the morning. Finally needing to go to the clubhouse to take care of club business I’d loaded them up in my truck.
I had left my bike down at the beach with my brothers and rented a car to get Emery home. I wasn’t about to have her on the back of my bike after what she’d been through and having to ride in the pouring rain. No, she needed dry clothes and to be somewhere where she wouldn’t get wet again.
My mind is still blown about how she got away from Javier and swam to the other side of Oregon Inlet.
While at the clubhouse Emery and Stone both stayed close to me. Only when I needed to hold church did I let them out of my sight. Even then Beast and Toxin both stood guard close to them. No one here wants to deal with something else like that again.
Unfortunately, I still have one matter left to take care of and I’m about to do that now. Our brothers from Iowa are here to assist in the cleanup of the bodies we’d had to bring back, as well as when I’m finished with Javier and Numbnuts.
Gently moving Emery’s arm off of my chest, I slide out from under her. Tucking my pillow in next to her I lean down and kiss the side of her face. “I’ll be back soon,” I whisper softly, not wanting to wake her up.
We’d stayed at the clubhouse tonight because of the party we’d had to welcome our brothers here.
Stepping into the hall I straighten my shoulders and head for the basement. I pull my phone out of my pocket and send a quick group text to all my brothers to come down.
As I make my way into the soundproof room that we have down here, that we use for taking care shitheads like the two chained up in front of me.
Chained to the steel beam in the ceiling in the center of the room Javier groans, his face already swollen from the multiple beatings he’d received. Numbnuts doesn’t look any better.
Walking around them I focus on the wall of tools that we keep hanging up there. In the corner of the room we have a work bench that holds a reptile terrarium. Inside it contains two boa constrictors.
They’re Bane’s pets that we keep down here. If he could Bane would probably keep them in his room with him, but after the last time these two escaped their home they’ve been down here. We had found them in Ram’s room wrapping themselves around the man’s leg.
It’s the only time I’d ever heard the man scream like a bitch as he’d woken everyone in the clubhouse up.
The sound of footsteps coming down the stairs brings me back to the present.
“Prez you realize what time it is,” Bane
