as she crumples to the bed, I get up and make my way to the bathroom. Removing the condom from my dick, I throw it in the trash. Starting the shower, I step inside pulling the curtain closed while it’s still cold as shit. But I’m not wasting time, if Ram says shit’s serious, then he’s not playing around. I grab my soap and wash the dirt from the long ride and the stench of Bubbles off my body. I can fuck the hell out of those bitches but I fuckin’ hate having their smell on me.

Once I finish up in the shower, I turn the water off and step out. Grabbing my towel, I wrap it around my waist and walk out of my en-suite bathroom. Thank fuck each of us patch members have our own bathrooms and don’t share like we make the prospects and CW’s do. Some people are just fuckin’ nasty and I guess you can say I’m OCD about keeping shit clean.

It’s why there’s a schedule set in stone for the CW’s to follow and if they don’t, their ass gets locked down from getting fucked for a certain amount of time my brothers and I deem fit. They continue to not listen, they’re out on their ass. I give them two shots, that’s it. No third chances. In all honesty I don’t have to give them any chances.

Glancing at my bed, I’m glad to see Bubbles remembered the rules of not being in my bed when I got out of the shower. She did it once and didn’t like the repercussions of it since she had to go an entire month without being fucked. Didn’t mean my brothers didn’t let her suck them off.

As I get dressed, I try to figure out who the hell would need to talk to me so bad they can’t wait for me to call them back. Soon as I put my boots on my feet, I grab my holstered gun’s strap and cut. I don’t ever leave this room without either.

“You can never be too careful, son. It’s why I always carry not one but two, one in the inside pocket of my cut the other stays at my back,” Lennox used to say. After Ghoul brought me around the club, I’d met Lennox. He’d been my brother ever since. Sucked when he got locked up. But when he gets out, he’ll have his place here amongst our club.

Thinking of how I met Lennox I always end up thinking about the day Ghoul found me on the top of that dune. He’d also been the man who gave me a fresh start when all I’d wanted to do is end it all.

Stepping out of my room, I make sure to lock the door. All my brothers and I lock the doors to our rooms. None of us want to deal with anyone coming into our space uninvited.

“What the fuck is so important I can’t get a decent fuck before I deal with shit around here?” I growl as I step into the main room and find Ram who’s holding a burner phone to his ear, his narrowed eyes directed to me. I don’t miss the fury rolling off him.

“Yeah, yeah, okay here he is,” Ram grumbles, thrusting the phone at me. “You can speak to the asshole, I’m tired of covering for you when it comes to him.”

Fuck, what the hell does he want? There’s only one asshole I fuckin’ hate talking to and prefer to have Ram or Bane deal with, Rodric Kesson. My once upon a lifetime ago, father-in-law. He’s also the arms dealer our club works with out of Scotland. Normally when it comes to business, we deal with his right-hand man, Evander, who is also Rodric’s brother.

Taking a deep breath, I put the phone to my ear. “What can I do for you Rodric?” I ask, unable to keep the harshness out of my voice. Neither of us have been able to stand each other since that fateful day. The day his daughter, my wife, died in the hospital after being shot in the chest.

“Well, you can start with toning down the attitude and show some respect son,” he snaps.

“Like you show me? How about I’ll show you respect the day you show me and don’t fuckin’ call me son.” I retort, pissed he has the nerve to call me his son.

“Always the smartass,” he says with a sigh. In the background a child’s laughter can be heard. “Stone, go find your mum.” The affection in Rodric’s voice sends a pang through my chest that I quickly bury down. This is what he would have sounded like with the child my wife and I would have had if she were still here.

Don’t go there, motherfucker. Don’t bring up the past. It’s long gone and over with.

“I don’t have all day, now tell me what’s so fuckin’ important you need to speak to me yourself rather than me dealing with Evander,” I demand.

“I need to send some precious cargo your way and have them stay with you. You’re the only one I can trust to protect them,” he says.

“And what is this cargo you’re speaking of?” I ask as I step over to the bar and grab the beer Toxin places in front of me.

“Your wife and son,” he says as I put the bottle to my mouth to swallow some of the beer only instead of swallowing it, I choke as his words hit me.

“Your delusional old man, my wife is dead, and she sure as hell wasn’t pregnant with my kid the day she was killed,” I sneer. Emery would have told me if she’d been pregnant and that’s something I’d have never forgotten.

“That’s where you’re wrong son, she is very much alive, same as Stone. Emery will explain everything to you when they get to your clubhouse. You protect them. They are no longer safe here as the threats from long ago
