the extent that if you prefer to call a day as night, I would too!” This, lovers always say to each other.

Even when they know it very well that such a thing is never ever practically possible, still, saying and listening it from the loved ones make us so happy. Melting one’s personality for merger with that of his or her lover is a favorite love urge and need.

The truth is, this is something, which finally proves out to be the main trouble in love and intimacy. There is a huge semantic as well as mental dualism in this positioning. Most people are in the habit of accepting popular benchmarks and this for many is true for personal perspectives on ‘true’ love as well as divinity.

This dualism has to be understood. As is the popular cultural understanding of such a positioning, we believe that the lover seems to say, “For me right and wrong is not important, what is, is your joy as I love you”. Similar is the populist positioning for God’s love.

The trouble is, when in deep love, what other meaning, which the lines may convey, most of us happily ignore or are reluctant to accept. The other meaning, the lover might intend to convey is, “Love has positioned me to defer the issue of right and wrong as primary is your joy, the righteousness can wait”.

What it also may conveys is, “My accepting or rejecting a right or wrong is not in my hand as right or wrong shall be what they are irrespective of my viewpoint, what is in my hand and I am very happy to do it is, accept what you say as I truly love you”.

More importantly, if we have a holistic, assimilative and integrative consciousness, what it may actually mean is, “It is essentially a first step towards the realization and arriving at right or wrong because, when I accept your viewpoint, I take the first necessary step towards assimilation and as and when you and me assimilate, there shall never be two minds and two consciousnesses. This shall be the time when we together shall see day as day and night as night. It is just a transitional but primary step that I am so happily accepting as I love you”.

This last positioning of consciousness is ‘higher’ consciousness as it is a holistic, assimilative and integrative perspective. The instinctive ‘reactive-mode’ consciousness would accept only the first meaning of the sentence, which the lover said and shall always be in trouble.

The ‘receptive-mode’ consciousness would always accept and appreciate all other possible meanings and shall reach to the conclusion, which a higher mind consciousness evolves and accepts.

This higher mind consciousness of ‘receptive-mode’ positioning, which works on the golden principle of holism, assimilation and integration, shall be in a position to understand the mechanism of a problem or trouble devoid of the burden of ‘dressed-up’ fabrics of a reactive-mode consciousness.

This higher mind shall understand the dualism of the mechanism and shall have ready solutions of all problems, as he or she would see and accept that solution is just the alternative arrangement of elements, which caused a problem.

In our lives, we are always faced with dualism. Often, in our reactionary consciousness, we see only one and partial side of thing. This is the real problem. The higher mind consciousness, which can see the holism, is the solution provider.

We have our popular definition of success and failures. We see failures as problem and success as solution. The higher consciousness sees and accepts both as two sides of the same coin. This is naked solution.

We have a very popular story of twins born to a family. One was born healthy and other had congenital heart trouble. The doctors told the parents that the diseased twin would not survive for more than five years.

The parents took the situation as a challenge and took special care of the unhealthy kid. From very early, the kid inculcated the idea that he would have to lead a very careful life for survival. He went on to live for eighty years, leading a regulated and disciplined life. The other kid, who was healthy and fit, never had any limitations and he lived his life as he wished. The parents thought he was fit and never disciplined him. He died of heart attack, when only 35.

Loren Eiseley said, “It was the failures who had always won, but by the time they won they had come to be called successes. This is the final paradox, which men call evolution.”

This speaks volumes of the dualism we all face in our modern social milieus. We have a set of benchmarks of successes and failures, the good or bad, the right or wrong; defined by our popular culture. These cultural benchmarks have become part of our instinctive mechanism.

A reactive-mode consciousness can be in trouble as it may not be in a position to handle the ‘dualism’ of success or failure benchmarks. We all need to understand and make distinction between varying utilities of the same benchmark in different domains of life.

A good employee, in a marketing company, or in any economic activity, shall be required to have ‘aggressive’ attitude towards company’s targets. If we apply the same benchmark of ‘goodness’ in the social sphere, especially in relationships, we shall be a disaster. Here, the virtue is not ‘aggression’ but ‘accommodation’, which is a failure benchmark in corporate domain.

In addition, the meaning of ‘aggression’ or ‘accommodation’ may be different, when you are in reactive-mode consciousness or in receptive-mode. There is often a tendency to either under-mean it or over-mean it. A poised meaning is a facility, not always available to people in daily life flux.

The dualism is always unraveling itself in almost all things in life and living situations. The conflict is endemic. Success parameters at one time can be a failure-format at another time and space and vice-versa. What is the ultimate success principle is to understand this dualism and sincerely attempt to be in the ‘poise-position’.

A Mega Facility, Which Proved To Be Chief Trouble Maker

WE SHOULD NOW TALK about why and how we usually dress-up a problem and make it far more complicated than it actually is. Once we understand the mechanism of this dressing-up of problems around us, we shall have no problem in finding solutions. In the mechanism of problem, lies the facility of solution.

Once again, it is the new wisdom of scientific investigation, which puts us in good stead in understanding the mechanism. We just need to look around for something very crucial and helpful to us in the animal world. You look at Zebras in the wild. There shall be thousands of them but all of them would look almost the same. It would be difficult to distinguish between the same sizes of Zebras.

This similarity in the animal world is not only morphological but also largely mental. All animals of the same species shall have largely similar consciousness too. That is why; all of them have almost similar behavioral and actionable routines and habits. Think of it, had this been true with humanity, we would have been in huge trouble. As an animal recognizes its baby by its scent, we too would have spent hours sniffing around for our kids.

It is no joke. Scientists now confirm, it was a human reality too, just some thousands of years back. We looked very similar like animals. Only modern Homo sapiens look distinctively dissimilar.

We are talking about it to arrive at one single reality, which has been a huge facility for us, but also the cause of equal amount of confusions and conflicts. This shall decipher the ‘mechanism’, which makes us dress-up our troubles.

Animal world is very homogenous in physical environment and as the animals have very limited element of subjective consciousness and facility of imagination, most of their actions and behaviors are instinctive, therefore common. They live in close collectivity and the commonality of instinctive action-behavior is the core basis of their survival and collective excellence.

Humans also started the same way. However, later humans evolved to have the facility of subjective consciousness and a very powerful element of imagination, which made them far more superior to other species and a worthy species to rule the world.

However, this facility had a hidden energy of big trouble for humanity in later stages. Humanity used its power of imagination in solving problems, winning over the restrictive and brutal environment. It spread to all parts of world, even in inhospitable climates.

Different environments necessitated different adaptations and this led to different ethnicities of humans. Morphological differences cropped up. These differences triggered off the subjective feelings and later, different cultures evolved for different groups of people.

Much later, when humans began to look different, have different cultures, habits and tastes, evolved because of different adaptation needs in differentiated physical environments, tribalism developed and ethnic differences led to incessant conflicts and wars between people.

The subjective feelings and imaginations created difference between people even within the same environment and tribe. The socio-cultural conflicts within a community surfaced for the first time as population grew. These were novelties of human culture, which are still missing in animal world.

Cultural specialties and exclusivities grew in nature and content. The homogeneity of action and behavior was the toughest challenge for humanity. Subjective feelings led to philosophies of minds. Different subjective mind consciousnesses created and believed in different philosophies. Religions too were created with different idealisms and rituals, suiting to endemic cultures.

In modern times, we see the subjectivity of individuals and their subjective imaginations at its worst best and that is why, it is only very natural that differences, conflicts and competitiveness have grown out of proportions.

Long years of cultural behavior-action patterns have created a sub-conscious mind, which is led to culturally defined benchmarks of success and failures in an auto-mode.

Essentially, the element of subjectivity and imagination, which made us superior to animals and made us win the battle with brutal nature to successfully build an all-endowed society, has now become so intense and potent, that it has become a huge burden for the survival of a peaceful and systematic society. Scientists warn, “Intelligent races are suicidal in nature”.

Remember, Dinosaurs, the mightiest of species, who dominated the earth for around 170 million years, never had intra-species trouble of serious nature. They were powerful but had no culture. They had almost no subjective feeling and facility of imagination. They lived peacefully for long.

On the other hand, humanity in its modern form, has been on Earth for just around two million years and already, experts are warning that we can become extinct in next few thousand years, because of the burden of our own conflicts, largely cultural. The fact remains that humanity is more in conflict with humanity itself.

The solution for individuals as well as societies is not in reverting to the pre-civilization and pre-culture days and resort to animal-world simplicity. It is not possible. The solution is in understanding this ‘mechanism’ we all have and how problems we face are rooted in our very mechanism and in the way we have evolved over millions of years.

This is the sure and certain way of undressing a problem, seeing it in its nakedness, in its originality and innate way. The solution comes automatic. If problems are in positioning ourselves vis-à-vis this mechanism in a certain way, the solution is in changing this position and shift to a position, where it either does not affect us, or becomes profitable.

This profitable position is of a holistic, assimilative and integrative perspective unleashed by a receptive mind consciousness, through acceptance, compassion and symbiosis of behavior-action positioning.
