Chapter 1

Author's Note:

Yeah So This Is My First Story :D so be nice! I just want people to tell me if it's good or not so that I can get a hang of this writing thing :) I would like a Yes or No if you guys read this part and think I should continue writing it. No point in going on if it is rubbish!

Chapter 1

I saw him across the room in math class with some poor girl who was
too dumb to even notice that he was not listening to a single word she
was saying. Instead, he was staring at her chest and nodding when she
paused for a little while to avoid being caught. Pathetic, but this
wasn't suprising as it was Aaron J. Esdale, the typical Highschool
Jock, I'm not sure what the J stands for but i'm sure it's for jerk.

You know that type of guy that all of the girls (and some of the
boys) practically worship? That's him alright. Breezing through
highschool doing whatever he pleases whether that's hooking up with
girls or just well... Yeah his priorities are mainly just hooking up
with girls. He didn't even have to worry about college because he will
easily get a scholarship for any college he wants. That's what happens
when your captain of the football team I guess.
Although, despite how much I despised Aaron J. Esdale, I had to
admit that he was seriously the hottest guy I had ever seen. Tousled
sandy brown hair, a flawless complexion, the perfect shade of tan and
that body! It made my knees go weak just thinking about it.

Oh God, I turned around for a quick second to see what they were up
to now because I could no longer hear that annoying laugh of the
bimbo Aaron was 'talking' to before. Any wonder I couldn't....her
tongue was busy exploring the inside of Aaron's mouth! I mean we're in
the middle of algebra for God's sake have a little class! With a look
of disgust upon my face I turned back to face the blackboard and took
down my homework assignment just in time for the bell to ring.
Finally, the end of another week of this dreadful place we call school.

I quickly dumped all of my schoolbooks in my locker and proceeded to
the parking lot with my phone to wait on my best friend who I have
known since I was five. Sarah-Jane Parker or SJ as everyone called her
and her disgusting boyfriend Jay.

“Hey babe!", yuck if there was anything i hated most in this world
it was being called babe but it was Sarah, finally “listen about
today..." oh no she was going to blow me off again to go somewhere
with Jay no doubt. “I was going to-" I cut her off

“Say no more" I replied with a slightly disappointed tone, “I'll just walk home".
With that I left the parking lot to continue the long walk from school
to my house.

Great just bloody fantastic, I've only just begun the treacherous
walk when the heavens open and it starts pissing down. I swear SJ owes
me big. Hold on is that her car slowing down beside me? A black
mondeo? Yes it is! I run to the car with a huge smile on my face while
my mascara drips down my cheek. “I knew you wouldn't leave me!"

The driver rolled the car window down and laughed “why would I
leave a babe like you wondering the streets with no extremely
attractive guy to accompany you?" ....it was not SJ.

There sitting before me in all his glory, with a stupid smirk across his smug face
was Aaron J. Esdale. I wasn't in the mood to converse with that idiot
today. I was soaking, My hair and makeup were a mess and my best
friend had just blew me off for a steamy makeout session with her
boyfriend.

“What" I replied sharply whilst staring at my black brogues so that
he didn't see my face.“Ouch no need to snap! I was just wondering if I can give a pretty
girl a ride home?"

I felt the blood rushing to my cheeks and I let a smile escape from
my lips as I looked up to face him.
“Oh is that right?" I asked rhetorically
“Yeah, you don't see one around do you?" He replied laughing.
Real mature.
“Get bent Aaron".
“Ohhh someones got an attitude! I was only joking, come on hop in,
your house is ages away from here and I'm going to yours anyway to
pick up Mark". (Mark was my annoying twin brother who was also part of
the 'A' crowd.)

I really didn't want to but I felt as though I had no choice, he
would only keep following me in his car if I didn't, plus I was
getting tired of the freezing cold rain pelting down on me.
“Fine then, but no funny buisness".

Chapter 2

The car journey was slow and painful as I was forced to listen to Aaron's dreaded DJ mixes turned up at full blast while watching him attempt to dance. Our music tastes are very different. He listenes to the kind of music that you would hear playing at all of those tacky clubs, which I guess suited him, while I preferred to listen to Snow Patrol or The Script.

When we arrived at my house I quickly ran inside, threw my old, worn down rucksack on the floor and quickly marched up the stairs to the bathroom to have a quick shower and get cleaned up, because even though Aaron was by far the most irritating person I know, he was still the hottest guy in school and if he was going to be hanging around my house all day then I was going to look my best. I'm very uncomfortable with the way I look, so it was more for me to feel more secure than anything. When I'm confident I can take on the world.

I dried my hair and put on my light denim Abercrombie jeans that were ripped all over and showed off my figure, which I must say I'm quite proud of as I was skinny and quite toned (due to my crazy work out sessions with SJ every Sunday afternoon) and I chose a plain black vest top to match as black was smart, sophisticated and emphasised my newly aquired tan I had gained from a recent family holiday to Cyprus.

I finished my math and English homework, applied some mascara and proceeded to go to the living room where I knew Mark and Aaron would be. I know what you're thinking but no. I didn't want to find Aaron so I could flaunt my figure in front of him and be all flirty and giggly, please, that is so shallow!
I wanted to find Mark so that I could ask him if he could drop me and SJ off at the mall tonight to go see a film or something.

I walked into the living room and just as I suspected Mark and Aaron were there playing Call of Duty like two brainless creatures from another planet. It was the first time that I'd ever seen Aaron J. Esdale inside my house, as I usually just tried to keep myself busy up in my room with homework and various other activities which usually consisted of talking to SJ on the phone for countless hours.

"What do you want! Can't you see I'm busy!" Mark complained. Time to beg.
"Ermm Mark do you know the way you love me?"
"Oh I get it, you dont have a car yet it's Friday you want a lift to the mall with Sarah-Jane right?"
"Yup you guessed it, what's it gonna cost me this time, the usual?" I usually have to tidy his room and do all of his chores for two weeks every time I need a lift somewhere. It was a pretty stingy idea, but that was Mark.
"Not this time Lucy, in fact I know exactly what you can do for me."
"Me too" Aaron butted in and winked.
"Don't be gross dude, I'm talking about the party tomorrow. We need a sober driver."

I knew exactly who's party they were talking about. Sadie and Shannon Winslow's. Their family are incredibly rich and they're incredibly beautiful. One drawback with both of them though, because they were complete and utter (excuse my French) bitches!
I was invited too, the whole year was but I was not for going.
"I guess that's fair." Mom and dad would be at their Saturday night conference anyway and anything was better than cleaning out the piles of dirty thongs in Mark's room. Let's just say that if he had any more traffic up there then he would have to open up a starbucks.

Chapter 3

Mark dropped us off at the mall at 7:30 which was just in time for us to catch a showing of the hangover, I don't think that I had ever laughed so much in my entire life! When the movie was over, SJ and I decided to go to the footcourt to grab a slice of pizza.

I picked up a slice of hot, cheesy pizza and raised it to my mouth when I spotted him. Matt Carson.
OH MY GOD! NO WAY...
He was my best friend when I was growing up in my hometown and we both wanted to go to Harvard when we were old enough to study law together. But, when mom and dad got their buisness launched we had to move to a bigger city and Matt and I lost touch. It brought a tear to my eye when I thought about our childhood together.

"Hey pal remember me?!" I shouted across the room. He was a lot hotter than what I remembered, then again, the last time we saw eachother we were both twelve. That would have been kinda innapropriate.
